It seems that now Joe gets a bit of a break from being on display. LOL
Yesterday, dad and Joe went for the preliminary evaluation for radiation treatments. We thought they were going to make the mask and such, but they did not. that will be later. The dr basically went over ALL of Joe's information, I am sure looked at his cds that had his scans on it.. and explained all that will happen.
Dad said it was a thorough explaination.
IN a week or so, he gets the mask fitted and other things lined up so the treatments can start.
The speech augmentation device I got for him came to his apartment,, but as a tease, no instructions. I did kind of read that but I thought very basic instructions would be included.. NO.
So he is sitting there, unable to figure it out. I noticed how computer illiterate he is when he tried to sign in at the dr's visit and really did not know what or how to do it. Kind of weird, but I forget he does not have any access to computers.
So I will send him the manual and hope that helps him out.. if not, I can stop up after I drop Rachel off at school after Thanksgiving.
