Just touching base quickly.
Mom called to give the latest update... HE made it through all of his surgeries.
They even allowed him to come out of the anesthesia... and dad was there to see him. He also got to talk to him. JOe was still groggy but acknowledged that Dad was there.
I am sure everyone will sleep well tonight.
They did all the procedures as planned, and the last one was done by a plastic surgeon. Dad says he really cannot see any BIG sign of surgery.. so he must look pretty good.
I will go down tomorrow as I had planned.... can't wait to see with my little beady eyes that he is ok..
Might have to bring a tissue or two.
Feeling very lucky.
