Today, I have to wait for word from my mom as to when I can come and pick her up, to take her down so she can be there when the procedure(s) are finished.
I think I will be picking her up around 3 or so.
WOrk is not cooperating in the fact that I cannot get anyone to take my shift next Monday.... I will put more calls out there today, but I think it is kind of ridiculous that I am chasing people when it is this type of situation. I don't want off so I can go to a birthday party! I think they this angers me is because I have come in extra many times for people so they could go where they needed, and come in extra when it was busy... and I had plans.... and no repaying me of that favor. My one co-worker is kind of mad that the sups have not stepped in to say "don't worry, I will work it" although, they may just have to.
We really do not know what to expect from today.. but maybe when he is finshed, we will have a better idea of what will be done the following week.
I keep saying, when you know the plan and have answers, it makes things much easier.
Reminded my dad to take snacks with him, since he may be waiting a while and moved to a few different waiting rooms.
fingers crossed it goes as well as it can.
